NICHEL ELECTROPLATING

The purpose of this treatment is to change the surface characteristics of the materials that have been worked (hardness,  resistance to external agents, etc..). Nickel electroplating is exclusively carried out on metallic material. The workpiece is immersed into an electrolyte solution and is used as the cathode. The nickel anode is dissolved into the electrolyte in form of nickel ions. The ions travel through the solution and deposit on the cathode.
